Maryland Joins the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System

The Commissioner of Financial Regulation for the state of Maryland has announced its participation in the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS), as of yesterday, May 11.

Maryland Changes to Annual License Renewals

To ensure compliance with the federal S.A.F.E. Act and facilitate the shift to the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS), Maryland’s Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation has modified its mortgage licensee regulations.
