According to the June 9 State S.A.F.E. Act Legislative Tracking document found on the CSBS web site, 36 states have passed the S.A.F.E. Act legislation. These states will be adopting a version of the S.A.F.E. Act model legislation, which includes education and licensing of all mortgage loan originators.
