Washington Passes S.A.F.E. Act Legislation

The Washington legislature recently passed HB 1621, making the state compliant with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act.
This law requires the completion of 20 hours of pre-licensing education for mortgage loan originators. The topic requirements mirror those found in the S.A.F.E. Act including:

Kentucky Increases Pre-Licensing Education Requirements

Maryland Changes to Annual License Renewals
